Just in time for the start of the Advent season, the German rock musician JOHNROSE is releasing the fascinatingly extraordinary title track of his in a few days about Dr. JOHNROSE today, November 30th, 2023. Music Records released album “The Prophet’s Dance” as the final single, which metaphorically takes on the indepth perspective of a whale as a prophet. The contemplative, emotional song reveals a hidden underwater world where whales spend more time playing, dancing and singing than foraging for food, and invites you to pause and turn back. English videographer Andy Pilkington (including Uriah Heep, Judas Priest, Thunder) brings this touching scenery to life in an impressive audiovisual way in the accompanying lyric video. The German rock poet JOHNROSE calls for mutual respect and trust with his third single “Calling For You” from the upcoming album “The Prophet’s Dance”.
With “Calling For You”, JOHNROSE’s new single is released today, October 19th, 2023, which introduces another facet of his progressive rock album “The Prophet’s Dance”, which was released this winter via Dr. Music Records is released. After the melancholic prelude with “Around The Lake” and the catchy summery “Manner Of Traveling”, the new song is about the longing for a leader who takes responsibility. The song, which is also the album's opener, begins with a nightmare about how someone desperately calls for his president but receives no answer and ends in a quiet and intimate atmosphere characterized by trust and mutual respect. What ultimately matters is faith, hope and love, but also taking a stand to effect a difference jointly. The accompanying lyric video was produced by English videographer Andy Pilkington, who has also worked with such greats as Uriah Heep, Judas Priest and Thunder and who interweaves the evocative lyrics with coherent scenes. My second single Manner Of Travelling is out! I was inspired to write the song by a poster that I rediscovered on a photo in a photo album. It said “Happiness is not a station you arrive at but a manner of travelling”. The song title was born.

My first single Around The Lake is out! It's a very personal song. My father passed away suddenly at the age of 47, when I was just 18 years old. At that time we both often went for walks around a lake in our home country.
